Parents for DeKalb Schools is a grassroots organization created in light of the ongoing failure of the DeKalb County School District (DCSD) (also known as DCSD) to provide its students the best possible education.

Parents for DeKalb Schools' mission is to engage, connect, and mobilize school parents and residents from across DeKalb County to hold DCSD to the highest standards for student achievement, fiscal responsibility, and leadership.

The almost 900 subscribers of our email list receive important updates regarding the latest issues facing DCSD.  In addition, through participation in online surveys on DCSS related topics, our supporters are equipped to understand the opinions of parents across DeKalb County.

With the help of our supporters, we are continuing to increase in size as more parents and concerned citizens discover the value of mobilizing as a single force to ensure a high level of accountability for the Board of Education and leadership of DCSD.
